Bowlie all-dayer & new EP

We’re playing the Bowlie all-dayer somewhere in Brixton on Saturday, woop! We were going to headline, but unfortunately Louise is busy having a sit next to some Pyramids, and we also have a bus to catch, so we’ll be on a little earlier. To make up for this however, we will have precisely 24 handmade advance copies of our new EP for sale. This will be the only opportunity to buy them before the actual launch with Cosy Recordings in Stockholm later this month. By buying all 24 copies, not only will 24 people have 5 fantastic new tracks, but we’ll have EXACTLY our bus fare home, which would be jolly useful!

Claire, Are We Safe With Bears?

We survived Indietracks and we had fun, hurrah!

Since we got home we’ve been sent a lovely cover of our single by Drew / Life With Bears, which I have cunningly named ‘Claire, Are We Safe With Bears?’ It’s jolly good, have a listen here below:

And finally, we’re playing tomorrow at the Red Rooms (Rescue Rooms) in Nottingham with Pete Green and The Smittens. Please be in attendance, ja?

Rough Beats 2008

We had THIS much fun. The cats & dogs made it a lovely festival, as did the hill to the tiny camping field.

New Deirdre Daily

BBC News recently reported that the Deirdre Daily is now enlisted as an endangered species. They are very right indeed.

Here’s the new one. It’s not very good.
